About the tool

What you should know before you start.

How P1 registration works

Six phases, run in order. Each school fills as many seats as it can at each phase before moving to the next; if more parents apply than there are seats, MOE ballots.

  • Phase 1 — Siblings of current students. Most are guaranteed a place.
  • Phase 2A — Alumni parents, school advisory committee, staff children.
  • Phase 2B — School volunteers, church / clan / grassroots leaders (within 2 km).
  • Phase 2C — Open to all Singapore Citizens and PRs, prioritised by home-to-school distance.
  • Phase 2C Supp. — Leftover seats from 2C, again by distance.
  • Phase 3 — Non-citizens and non-PRs (places left over from 2C-Supp).

Most parents only qualify for Phase 2C. Each phase gives away only as many seats as it needs; the later phases fill from what's left.

What this tool does

  1. ACapture your home address and citizenship status.
  2. BShow the schools you can ballot for, sorted by distance, with per-phase risk badges from MOE's 2025 data.
  3. CLet you build a cascading ballot plan: one school per phase (2A → 2B → 2C → 2C-Supp), with live landing-probability math.
  4. DShow your realistic outcome — P(at least one placement) — with a copy-as-text plan for sharing with a partner or co-parent.

What this tool doesn't do

This tool uses historical MOE registration outcomes from the 2025 P1 Registration Exercise. Past balloting does not predict future results — demand shifts every year — but the patterns are useful for stress-testing your plan.

Always confirm registration rules and your eligibility directly with the school and MOE before registration.
